Working in health and fitness you hear over and over, “You’ve
got to want it”!
You hear the question asked, “Do you want it”?
Stop WANTING. Start PRAYING.
You can want something with all your might. Wanting will
only get you so far. When you KNOW something is right for you, good for you,
and you even say that you are willing to work for it… but then things just don’t
pan out… what are you missing?
I wanted for years to be CONSISTENT and to be healthy. I
wanted to be a size 4. I wanted to look good. I wanted to feel good. I wanted
to help other people figure their life out, get their energy back and fulfill
their life’s purpose. But I couldn’t figure out how to do it for myself. For
years I WANTED this. For years I was unhappy knowing that my life was meant for
MORE and being unable to do more. It was meant for something BIG. I just had no
idea what that was or how to get there.
It wasn’t until I realized that without God’s help I couldn’t
do it on my own. And I’m not talking about using Him as my emergency backup… I’m
talking DAILY conversations. Thanking Him daily, asking for His help and guidance
daily, praying for others daily, opening my Bible daily… It wasn’t until I was
consistent with THAT that my life changed. That is when all those years of
WANTING started becoming reality.
If you have seen my posts before and have thought about
giving this “challenge group” thing a shot but feared you would end up chalking
it up as another failed attempt, then I want you to do something for me. Pray
about it. Ask God to lead you in the direction of someone who can show you how
to get healthy. I would love to be that person because I know this works. It
just does. Is it the only way to lose weight and get healthy? No, of course
not. But it is the healthy natural way. It might not be the quick fix, fat
melting, chemical laden supplement that you have looked to in the past, but let’s
be real… without putting fourth some real effort nothing will last.
