I don't really know how other coaches run their groups. I know how I run my groups and I have seen success come from them. You will have the ability to log your workout each day which is such an accomplishing feeling, especially at the end of the week when you see all the check marks on the calendar! You get a daily dose of encouragement from me, as your coach, and the other participants as well! It's nice to know other people are having (or have had) the same struggles as you and it's so motivating to see people grow, learn, and share their triumphs. You may be working out at home but you are not alone and sometimes that is exactly the push you need to make it work this time.
This is something I posted in one of my groups today, just to give you an idea of what to expect...
"Today's verse is my vision of what I want this group to do for each one of you. This perfectly explains why I fell in love with the idea of a "challenge group"!
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17.
We all have rough areas within ourselves. Many of us are experiencing the same things! Let's use this group as a tool to sharpen each other! My Life Application Study Bible says about this verse, " Mental sharpness comes from being around good people. And a meeting of minds can help people see their ideas with new clarity, refine them and shape them into brilliant insights. This requires discussion partners who can challenge one another and stimulate thought- people who focus on the idea without involving their egos in the discussion; people who know how to attack the thought and not the thinker. Two friends who bring their ideas together can help each other become sharper."
Please, don't be afraid to participate, you never know how your struggles and your triumphs can relate to or encourage someone else!"
If you are searching, praying, wishing, dreaming about feeling good, having more energy, and changing your body then do not hesitate to reach out! Try something different this time. What are you afraid of? Are you afraid it might just work?
